New version of the online store for SAS supermarket chain

One of the most popular supermarket chains in Armenia has been our client for many years.


The world is changing and the expectations of customers are changing along with it. That's why seven years later we came to the need for a complete update of the online store.

Objective: to develop a new version of the SAS online store.

Technical work

The initial objective was to upgrade the capacity of the old control system, which was no longer enough to implement the required functionality.
The online store was completely transferred to the new Bitrix.

Main menu

The chain has two main areas that needed to be separated on the website: supermarket and food court.
A one-time authorization is enough for users — the shopping cart is one both for the store and for ordering prepared meals.

Choice of geolocation

The delivery address is added through the search or directly on the map. There may be several such addresses. Available goods will be visible depending on the selected address.
Delivery of your favorite goods can be arranged even in Moscow (it will take only 2-3 days).

Favorite brands

The store is in demand for exclusive goods from local to international brands. An appropriate filter has been added for the convenience of customers.
    

Personal account

The customer can monitor the status of the order or the history of purchases in this section.

So, the customer sees whether his goods are on the way or have already been delivered (convenient if he placed an order for someone). And if he wants to repeat any of the purchases, he has the right filter at hand.


Personal account also allows to participate in the loyalty program. Here the user can find all the data on the accumulative card and the opportunity to issue it.

Additional functions

We have improved a number of auxiliary tools for the convenience of users. For example, voice search or lists with recipes for popular dishes — goods for which you can buy at once in just a couple of clicks.
According to research, more and more people are using voice assistant to search for information.
Work with the client developed in three directions: online store and 2 mobile applications: for the supermarket and food court.

CRM and internal interfaces

New opportunities for store employees help automate workflows.

Operators save time on authorization and can easily pick up a customer's shopping cart on his behalf if he decides to place an order by phone.


Employees picking up orders use a special «collector» interface — with it they see all incoming requests and their statuses.


Drivers always have their own interface at hand, where order details, customer information and status are marked: in process, delivered or returned to the store.
